Another walk around the block & Mais um passeio pelo bairro

That's Antônio's favorite activity -- to take a stroll around our new neighborhood, so many things to see, people to meet, toys to play with...

Essa é realmete a atividade favorita do Antônio -- dr uma andada pela nossa vizinhança: tanta coisa pra ver, gente pra encontrar, brinquedos pra brincar...



But now, he does not appreciate being carried around in his stroller: he wants to walk on his own, which means "mommy please do not hold my hands and, by the way, I am taking off... catch me if you can!"

Mas ele já não mais aprecia ser levado pra passear no seu carrinho: ele agora quer caminhar com suas próprias pernas, o quê significa "manhê, por favor larga da minha mão e, antes que eu me esqueça, fui... quer ver você me pegar!"



Really, he is the most happy when he is free to run, playing tag with mommy and daddy. He is really fast, or perhaps we are kind of slow, but in any case, it's fun to try and keep up with his energy.

Ele realmente, quando vamos à rua, só está contente correndo, livre, brincando de "pique-tá" com a mamãe e com o papai. Ele é rápido, ou talvez nós somos lentos demais, mas de qualquer forma é divertido tentar manter o mesmo nível de energia que ele tem.



Detail: look closely at his feet -- they both are in the air while he is running from Sandra, which I think is pretty amazing for a toddler -- he still toddles around, but wants to run like an adult!
