A Primeira Noite de Um Homem & Baby First Night

Em apenas uma palavra -- Sobrevivemos... e o Antonio também!

Eu peguei o primeito plantão da noite, até às 2 da matina, e até que ele cooperou comigo, e dormiu a maior parte do tempo. Portanto eu consegui fechar meus olhos agumas vezes. Mas a Sandra me disse nessa manhã que o Antonio reclamou a noite interira, e que o alarme disparou duas vezes devido a apnéia -- confesso que eu não ouvi!

Ele realmente reclama bastante, sempre pelo mesmo motivo... dificuldade em passar gases e evacuar. Ele tem que fazer muita força, e realmente parace estar com dor.

De resto, ele comeu bem durante a noite, mesmo com todos os medicamentos misturados no leite, e recebeu os nebulizadores sem maiores problemas.

Mamãe e bebê estão tirando uma soneca agora... eu estou de volta ao trabalho e daqui a 1 hora começa o ciclo do Antonio mais uma vez -- nebulizador, remédio, leite... hoje a noite a mãe da Sandra vem me render, pois eu preciso ir à Nova Iorque a trabalho por dois dias -- muito conveniente, certo?

In just one phrase: We survived... and Antonio too!

I got the first shift, that ended at 2:00 am, and our little Antonio actually cooperate with me and slept for the most part of it, so I was able to shut my eyes a couple of time. However, Sandra siad that he was very fussy all night long, and that the apnea alarme went off twice during the night -- I have to confess that I did not hear anything!

He is really fussy, mostly because of the pain in passing gas and pooping (which he went twice last night), He nneeds to really squeeze it out, and it looks painful to him because of the hernias.

He ate well last night, all botle feeding, even with the medicine and vitamin mized in... and he got his nebs without any major problem.

Mommy and baby are taking a nap right now (at the time of the original post of course, becasue they are awake now!) and I am back to work and blogging -- in about one hour it all starts up again: feeding, medicines, nebs... Later tonight, Sandra's mom is coming to stay for a couple of days becasue I need to go back to NYC for work... very convenient, right?

Also, I take this opportunity to post some pictures of Antonio's room, as I don;t remember if we ever posted those.
